Tampuli breed llamas (R) with Ccara breed llamas (L) in pen during competition, Curahuara de Carangas, Bolivia
There are 2 types of llamas, Ccara and Tampuli. Ccaras are the most common, Tampulis have longer, thicker wool which extends down the legs. These were the only 2 Tampuli llamas at this festival; they are not very common in Oruro Department, more so in south west Bolivia.
