Judges check the wool of a Tampuli breed llama during competition, Curahuara de Carangas, Bolivia
There are 2 main types of llamas, Ccara and Tampuli. Ccaras are the most common, Tampulis have longer, thicker wool which extends down the legs. This was one of only 2 Tampuli llamas at this festival; they are not very common in Oruro Department, more so in south west Bolivia.
