Pepino figure, llamas (Lama glama) and Payachatas volcanos, Sajama National Park, Bolivia
The pepino is a traditional character associated with Carnival, especially in La Paz. Here one has been raised on a post next to a llama corral during the Carnival season. Payachatas means "twin" in the Aymara language, individually the peaks are Parinacota (6330m / 20,765ft, left) and Pomerape (6282m / 20,610ft, right). The volcanos lie on the Bolivia / Chile border.
