Flute musicians, Taquile Island
Taquile Island is probably culturally the most interesting in Lake Titicaca; it received a UNESCO cultural heritage designation in 2006 for its culture and unique weavings. Its festivals are also colourful affairs with traditional dances, images from the event celebrating San Santiago (the island's patron saint) are now on line, as well as more images from the Uros floating Islands and Puno.
