James has recently returned from shooting the Festival of the Cross and Tinku celebrations which are held in the northern Potosi region. Communities in the area are still very isolated from the rest of Bolivia, and every year converge on the village of Macha for a series of ritual fights and brawls, a traditional that has ancient origins. Llama sacrifices and dances are also part of the celebrations.
