Female dancers at Pujllay festival, Tarabuco
This is one of Bolivia's most unique indigenous festivals - Quechua residents of the region (famed for their weavings and traditional dress) celebrate the anniversary of Battle of Jumbate, when their warriors defeated colonial forces in 1816 during the Wars of Independence. Images of this colourful celebration are now on-line!
