Cerro or Mount Fitzroy is arguably the most impressive feature of the Los Glaciares National Park near El Calafate in the Argentine Patagonia. Other well known wonders in the region include the Perito Moreno glacier and the sheer granite needle of Cerro Torre.

Perito Moreno Glacier
Close up view of the snout of the Perito Moreno Glacier, one of very few glaciers on the planet that is not currently receding. The snout itself is some 4km wide and rises around 60m above the surface of Lago Argentino.
