Mt. Salcantay

Mt. Salcantay, at 6271m / 20,575ft, is the highest peak in the Inca Trail region. Salcantay means "Wild mountain" due the the number of avalanches that crash down its steep faces and has only ever been climbed once, by a Japanese team (who cheated?!) using suction pads.
