Mineral spring

Water bubbles up through to the surface, with minerals and sediment staining the surrounding salt. The salt varies in depth from 2 to 20m, beneath is a reservoir of super saturated salt solution which forces its way to the surface at weak points. The water is icy cold but fizzy much like carbonated water due to the concentration of dissolved minerals and gases.
