Bolivia's population has the highest percentage of indigenous people (around 50%) in South America, the majority in the Andean highland regions. Aymara (especially in La Paz and the altiplano region) and Quechua are the main groups, though there are many others.

Suri Sikuris musician
Suri Sikuris is a ceremonial dance originally from the altiplano regions of Bolivia and was associated with the hunting of rheas (a small South American version of the ostrich, known as suris). It is also commonly danced at weddings and inaugurating the building of houses.
