Tobas dancer

The Tobas dances come originally from the Amazonian lowlands of Bolivia from the time of the Inca conquest of the region, commemorating the clashes between Incan and Amazonian warriors. The Tobas have since evolved and been adopted by groups across the country, and are noted for their spectacular masks, costumes and feather headdresses, all of which hint at death and ferocious battles of days gone by.
