Mt. Salcantay

Close up of the awesome south-east face of Mt. Salcantay, which at 6271m / 20,575ft is the highest peak in the Inca Trail region. Salcantay means "Wild mountain" due the the number of avalanches that crash down its steep faces and has only ever been climbed once, by a Japanese team (who cheated?!) using suction pads.
