Magical Andes Photography is a collection of images of Latin America (especially Bolivia, Peru and Chile) by British photographer James Brunker. James has been based in La Paz, Bolivia for many years and traveled extensively in the region. High quality imagery covering a wide range of subjects is available, including many of places, species, traditions and events that may be hard to find in more general stock libraries. Many more images are available in James' archives and in the process of being uploaded, if cannot find the images you are looking for please get in touch.
The main galleries contain several sub-galleries to make it easier for you to find images by location or subject. You can also use the search tab to look for the specific images you require (please note the search system uses stemming). Search results are initially grouped by sub-gallery, you can easily ungroup them if you prefer.
Anyone can save a temporary lightbox without registering for an account. To be able to access the lightbox later on, you should e-mail it, or create an account and save it. Creating an account is recommended and allows you to save, share and manage multiple lightboxes and access other features on request (such as downloading low res images for comps etc). You can also request that lightboxes for specific projects be created for you.
High resolution files for downloading are saved as unsharpened high quality jpegs, Adobe RGB (1998) colour profile, 300dpi. Other formats (such as tiff) can be sent on request.
