The Casa de los Marqueses de Villaverde was built from 1776-1790, the central courtyard is one of the finest surviving examples of mestizo baroque architecture in La Paz. The building is now part of the MUSEF Museo Nacional de Etnografía y Folklore / National Ethnography and Folklore Museum.
