Eroded ignimbrite volcanic rock formation, Milky Way and Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC), Nor Lípez Province, Bolivia
This image clearly shows the Coalsack Dark Nebula above the left point of the rock. It is one of the dark constellations recognised by the Incas, who called it Yutu (the tinamou or ground partridge).
