Upturned bottles left in the ground as offerings to Pachamama, Bolivia
After rituals have been performed and the mesas / offerings burnt, the ashes are usually buried in the ground. Bottles are often partly inserted in the ground and left open, the idea being that Pachamama then receives every last drop of the contents.
