"Cuna del ch'uta" translates as "cradle" or "birthplace" of the ch'uta. Ch'utas are a character particularly associated with Carnival celebrations in La Paz and the surrounding area. The character is said to have originated in Caquiaviri, a village about 70km south west of La Paz.
