Garra de leon ( Bomarea ovallei ) flower
The Garra de leon (Lion's Claw) flower was formerly classified as Leontochir ovallei before being moved to Bomarea genus. One of Chile's rarest flowers, it is endemic to only the Llanos de Challe National Park and nearby area. Its roots are often eaten by animals, and its rareness makes it attractive to collectors.
