Mt Veronica seen through Inti Punku / Sun Gate, near Ollantaytambo, Sacred Valley, Peru
Mt Veronica (5682m / 18,642ft) is known as Wakay Willca or Wakaywillk'a ("Sacred Tears", various spellings) in Quechua. This small hilltop temple was almost certainly a ceremonial site for mountain worship.
