Temple of the Condor, Machu Picchu, Peru
The Temple of the Condor gets its name from the figure carved into the bedrock on the ground that is said to resemble the head of a condor (an important deity to the Incas). The temple also shows how the Incas utilised the natural rock in their buildings.
