Female Andean Cinnamon teal (Spatula cyanoptera orinoma)
Found on lakes, rivers and wetlands in the altiplano regions (3200-4400m) of southern Peru, Bolivia and northern Chile. There are several cinnamon teal subspecies in the Americas, Anas cyanoptera septentrionalium is the North American subspecies (which winters in the Caribbean and northern South America). Local name: pato colorado.
