Rain frog (Eleutherodactylus species)
There are around 185 species in the Eleutherodactylus genus of frogs in the Neotropics, which commonly known as "rain frogs". All species of Eleutherodactylus are unusual in that the eggs hatch directly into small frogs, bypassing the tadpole stage.
