These chullpas at Totacachi (also written Tutacachi) in San Pedro de Totora province were registered by Kesseli y Pärsinnen in 2005 using the name Mamanjalla. They have been dated to the 16th century. The coloured patterns are similar to those on chullpas in the River Lauca valley further west, and are thought to be influenced by those on Inca textiles and ceramics (the Incas had forged an alliance with the Carangas Culture in this period).
