"The Song of the Wind" / "El Cantar del Viento" monument with modern sculptures of Chinchorro mummies, Quebrada Camarones, Region XV, Chile
This monument was made by the local artist / sculptor Paola Pimentel and inaugurated in 2017. The sculptures are hollow, have holes to allow the wind to blow through them and contain wind chimes, hence the name. Various Chinchorro Culture settlements have been discovered in the Camarones Bay area, which was one of 3 Chinchorro sites added to UNESCO's World Heritage List in July 2021.
