The gulls standing bottom centre (adult) and upper right (juvenile, with pale head) are kelp gulls. Its range overlaps with Belcher's gull in Peru and Chile. Kelp gulls are also found on the Atlantic coast from Brazil southwards, southern Africa, Australasia, islands in the southern oceans and parts of Antarctica.
