Aymara shaman or yatiri pours red wine on offering (called a k'oa) to Pachamama, La Cumbre, Bolivia
Offering beer or alcohol to Pachamama is a very common custom in Bolivia and the Andes and is called "challa" (from the verb "challar"). People often pour some of their drink onto ground at festivals or in bars so Pachamama receives her share.
