Unfinished cut stone Inca period chullpa / funerary tower with construction ramp, Sillustani, Peru
Sillustani was an important funerary site or necropolis and chullpas / funerary towers from various civilisations (including Tiwanaku and Inca) can be seen there. This image clearly shows the stone ramp used during construction for hauling the stones to the upper part of the unfinished tower.
