The Serranias Murillo is a small range in the southern part of the Cordillera Real, located to the south of La Cumbre and to the north of Mt Mururata. Despite its closeness to La Paz (only 20km or so as the condor flies) it sees relatively few visitors. It contains several peaks over 5000m / 16,400ft in height (the highest being Sirk'i Qullu / Serkhe Khollu at 5546m / 18,196ft) and some beautiful lakes and scenery. This gallery also include images of the Hampaturi Valley, which lies immediately to the north of the range and is the main access route. The reservoirs in the Hampaturi Valley are an important source of water for La Paz.
