Water tower and disused railway station building in Comanche, La Paz Department, Bolivia
Comanche lies on the Arica - La Paz railway (FCALP) which was built by the Chilean government under the 1904 Treaty of Peace and Friendship between Chile and Bolivia. The railway opened on 13 May 1913 and trains ran until 2005, since then the line has been out of operation for most of the time.
