Santo Tomás church in Isluga village, Isluga National Park , Region I , Chile
Santo Tomás (St Thomas) church in Isluga village dates from the 17th / 18th centuries. Isluga is a "ceremonial" village; its Aymara inhabitants have all migrated to the cities on the coast in search of work and only return to the village to celebrate festivals (the rubbish in the ditch in the foreground is from a recent celebration).
