Wooden rowing boats on the dried up shore of Cohana Bay on the Inner Lake / Huiñay Marka near Cohana, Lake Titicaca, Bolivia

Cohana village is on an island, mainly separated from the mainland by Cohana Bay. In normal low water levels there is usually water between the island from the mainland in the dried up a channel on the left, and much of the bay still has either shallow water or muddy swamps and large amounts of healthy totora reed beds.
