Fieldstone chullpas at Kala Uta near Quehuaya / Qiwaya, Lake Titicaca, Bolivia
The site of Kala Uta (which means Stone House) contains at least 50 chulpas on the shore of Titicaca's Inner Lake. The site is probably dates from the period between the Tiwanaku and Inca civilisations. In the background is Pariti Island.
