Aymara woman walking past graffiti on house for and against Evo Morales in Villa Dolores district, El Alto, Bolivia
This political graffiti in support of Evo Morales has been altered. Evo Si (Yes) refers to the campaign for Evo to stand again as a candidate in the 2019 presidential elections despite having served the maximum number of terms allowed under the constitution. The No vote won by a narrow margin in a referendum held on 21 February 2016 asking whether the constitution should be changed to allow him to stand. Someone has added the word Asesino / Killer around the Si in reference to deaths during repression of various anti government protests.
