People who have arrived with new grass ropes to rebuild the bridge wait to be registered, Q'eswachaka , Canas province , Peru
Around 2,500 locals (both men and women) from nearby communities contribute new ropes made from a grass called qooya or cc'olla for the new bridge. Each community's contribution is registered.
