Man ties rope to one of the main foundation ropes once it is in position so it can be tensioned, Q'eswachaka , Canas province , Peru
Once the foundation ropes are in position this man ties a rope to each of them in turn. Teams of men on each side of the bridge then haul the ropes to the correct tension.
