Painted plaster faces called caretas with medical masks as a result of the covid-19 coronavirus pandemic for sale for Todos Santos festival, Bolivia
These plaster faces (called caretas) are for the bread figures called tantawawas (or tantahuahuas, literally "bread babies") that are made in huge numbers for Todos Santos. Masks painted as doctors and nurses with medical facemasks are a new design in 2020 as a result of the covid 19 coronavirus pandemic.
