Juvenile / 1st winter Band tailed or Belchers gull (Larus belcheri)
Found on Pacific coast of South America from Ecuador southwards to central Chile. It is named after the British explorer Sir Edward Belcher. Local names: gaviota cangrejera, gaviota peruana, gaviota de cola negra.
