Rock formations that are often said to be the footprints of the Sun God, Sun Island, Lake Titicaca, Bolivia
These footprint like shapes are actually mineral inclusions (some say the iron ore limonite) in the sandstone bedrock. The early European chronicler Bernabe Cobo mentions the local belief that they were ancient footprints belonging to a deity.
