Contamination from acid mine drainage on shore of Laguna Milluni after fresh snowfall, Cordillera Real, Bolivia
The reddish orange stained rocks and color of Lake Milluni is the result of contamination from nearby mines - Milluni used to be the main smelting centre for many tin mines in the area, several of which are still exploited by cooperatives.
