Landlocked Bolivia is sometimes called the Tibet of South America due to its position in the heart of the continent and amazing high altitude landscapes. The Andes mountains separate the altiplano highlands of the western part of the country from the eastern lowlands; few people know that Bolivia contains some of the best preserved rainforest of the whole Amazon region. It is also noted for its diverse population (some 50% of Bolivian people are indigenous) and spectacular festivals. Galleries are arranged by Departments, with images of some cities, well known locations and National Parks in separate galleries. Many more images are available and I am always shooting more (especially of La Paz where James is based and surrounding areas); if you cannot find what you are looking for or want to see more images of a certain location / subject please get in touch!
